Your primary role will be within our Compliance department. Here, we help companies comply with EU regulations regarding postings and business travel – a rapidly growing and increasingly complex area.
Your main tasks will include:
Customer support during the onboarding of new clients
Advising and guiding on two key EU directives (A1 and PWD)
Administration and management of our app, which helps companies comply with legal requirements
Contributing to creating structure, security, and clarity for our clients
You will become an important part of a small, specialized team where we work closely together and always have each other’s backs.

Relocare Taxation International ApS is part of Relocare Group ApS and is a sister company to Relocare Sweden AB. Both are successful and growing consultancy firms. We are now looking for an outgoing international tax lawyer or tax advisor to join our tax, social security, and global mobility department in either Virum or our Morsø office. The position is full-time but can also be part-time, e.g., 24 or 32 hours per week.
You are an experienced tax lawyer or tax advisor who can manage and understand a wide range of cross-disciplinary and complex tasks. You must have both practical and solid experience with all aspects of Danish personal tax compliance, such as tax returns, preliminary income assessments, gross and net salary calculations, pensions, and more.
You should also be able to handle similar processes in other countries, where you will work with tax partners handling these tasks on your behalf. You must be able to consolidate this information and provide optimal solutions for our clients and their expatriates.
Our company’s work ranges from employment law, secondments, permanent establishment, tax, immigration, social security, relocation, cultural training, spouse assistance, intercultural leadership development, and cultural coaching.
Training will be required for most candidates, but that’s not a problem. We will support and guide you throughout the process. What’s most important is that you have the right educational background, mindset, and strategic thinking, rather than already having experience in all the areas mentioned above.
You will have plenty of opportunities to seek sparring from some of the best in the field – your future colleagues – as well as from international partners within Global Mobility Management and international taxation. You will never stand alone.
You will report directly to the owner of Relocare Taxation International ApS, and you will have an independent and challenging role.
Has a degree in law or tax advisory, ideally combined with solid experience from tax consulting, preferably with some in-house experience as well.
Has a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Danish taxation.
(If you have less experience but within the field of international taxation, you are still welcome to apply – but you must be willing to relocate to Morsø.)
Is thorough and detail-oriented, as the role involves many legal and administrative tasks that require excellent planning and organizational skills.
Enjoys working with people from all nationalities and personality types.
Is goal-oriented and persistent, yet warm, welcoming, and empathetic.
Speaks and writes Danish and English at a high level. Additional language skills are an advantage.

Salary according to your qualifications. The salary package is the same whether you work from our Virum or Morsø office. However, the Morsø office is located in a very different setting with a lower cost of living, so it’s your choice – city or countryside.

As a tax lawyer/tax advisor at Relocare, you will become part of a dynamic and dedicated team. You will work closely with our clients to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Advising on Danish and international tax in relation to global mobility together with Relocare’s senior employees.
Handling tax cases and liaising with tax authorities.
Preparing tax calculations and reports.
Assisting with preliminary income assessments and tax returns.
Tax planning and optimization for companies and their employees together with Relocare’s senior employees.
Contributing to the development and implementation of tax policies and strategies.
A degree in law or economics with a specialization in taxation.
At least 1 year of experience in Danish tax and global mobility.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and advisory skills.
Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
