Relocare was established in 2007 by Else Christensen, who combined her own expatriate experience with insights from her Business Administration thesis. Her research explored why some international employees cut their assignments short while others stayed on, and which benefits proved decisive.
Motivated by these findings—and by the challenges she herself faced abroad—Else Christensen created Relocare to help organizations attract, recruit, integrate, and retain global talent.
Today the companies consist of Reloare v. Else Christensen which is the first company and still operating today for the same multinational clients onboarded from 2007 to 2014.
In 2014 she founded Relocare Group ApS owning Relocare Taxation International ApS and the Swedish entity; Relocare Sweden AB, founded in 2018.
In 2020 she founded the IT software part of the company under the www.Relocaretech.com umbrella. Relocaretech offers an HR tool and Employee App for management and applications under the Social Security Directive for A1 applications and the Posted Workers Directive.
