Immigration Law Change

A new Danish immigration law introduces the Fast-track scheme, allowing certified companies to quickly hire highly qualified foreign employees without waiting for permit processing. Employees can begin work immediately after submitting their application, provided they meet certain conditions and enter Denmark legally. The scheme includes four tracks: high salary, researchers, internal training, and short-term stays. Companies must be certified (with at least 20 full-time employees and Danish-standard employment terms) and attend an informational meeting with authorities. Permits can last up to 4 years. The law takes effect on April 1, 2015, but companies can apply for certification now. Relocare offers assistance with the process.
