Why are trillions of kroner lost every year due to a lack of cultural competence?
The workforce and workplace culture outside Denmark differ significantly from the Danish context — a reality many companies face, especially under pressure from deadlines, during team collaboration, or when motivating international employees. Today’s knowledge workers increasingly come from emerging economies, which means Danish leaders must navigate greater diversity — not just in terms of nationality, but also in employee motivation and expectations.
A lack of cultural competence at the leadership level often leads to major challenges in collaboration, knowledge sharing, understanding, and communication — not only between managers and employees but also within the leadership team itself. Poor intercultural communication has proven costly and is a key factor in the low retention of international employees.
During this two-day seminar, participants will receive an individual intercultural profile assessment, which serves as the foundation for their personal development throughout the program. The training combines executive coaching and individual feedback with group-based, activity-driven learning focused on developing intercultural communication and empathy. This intensive development journey challenges assumptions and broadens perspectives, providing leaders with the tools they need to effectively manage international talent and maximize the potential and knowledge international employees bring to the organization.
Participants will gain practical and in-depth insights into how to:
Lead and retain international employees
Address and embrace cultural differences
Build a strong intercultural communication platform within their teams
The program includes:
Intercultural profile assessment
Personal feedback
Individual development plan
Executive coaching during the seminar and a follow-up session one month later
Materials, exercises, and case studies
Articles and resources
Two full days of instruction
All meals and refreshments during the seminar
Evening networking event
Price: DKK 25,000 excl. VAT per participant

In recent years, Latin America has undergone significant transformation, attracting important investments and business opportunities for the global economy—especially for Nordic companies.
Mexico is experiencing substantial economic growth in certain sectors, accompanied by major social and political challenges. With more open trade agreements than other Latin American countries, a more affluent middle class with increased purchasing power has emerged. At the same time, a number of structural reforms are underway.
This course provides not only cultural insights into Mexican business culture, but also takes a very practical approach. For example: How do you sell your products or services to someone from Mexico? What do your new partners or clients expect from you? How can you build the personal relationships that are crucial in Mexico—while keeping the focus on the business at hand?
Establishing business or partnerships in Latin America is deeply rooted in relationships and networks. The way people communicate and behave between colleagues, partners, managers, and employees in Latin America differs greatly from European practices—especially Scandinavian ones.
You might be interested in this course for several reasons, such as:
Enhancing collaboration with your business partners
Understanding challenges and opportunities of using a low-risk entry mode—from agents to partial production
Improving your local sales efforts
Clarifying differences in business opportunities or partnerships in the region
Preparing for an assignment in Mexico
Hiring employees from Mexico or exporting to the market
Gaining negotiation, communication, and language insights
Learning about the public sector and government relations
Understanding the private sector dynamics
Support with or development of market research and sector-specific analysis
Country overview: society, politics (including corruption and bribery), economy, and religion
Regional consumer trends
Insights into entrepreneurial networks and new projects, such as innovation and sustainability
