Meeting Denmark

Danish cultural awareness course – a must for new employees and families

“The Danish people have emerged as one of the happiest people in Europe, according to a new University of Cambridge study on happiness”.

Introduction to Danish Culture

Not that we don’t appreciate our lives, but being called happy Danes maybe is a bit far-fetched. An important cultural fact about the Danes is: Danes generally use understatement. The statement “that’s not so bad” about a job performance in Jutland, means that you indeed have done really well. “Not so bad” is in fact considered a very positive remark.

People share knowledge best when we understand and respect each other. With the Meeting Denmark cultural course, we provide participants with an in-depth understanding of Denmark, Danish culture and how to handle intercultural encounters in order to see challenges before they transform into problems.

Relocare has throughout more than 8 years continuously given the danish cultural awareness course Meeting Denmark and we have an average success rate of 94%.

Relocare inform about how to use Denmark as a country constructively and how participants can benefit most from their choice of a new work place, taking in the values of the company.
